Photographic Vehicle At Porini Lion Camp Olare Motorogi Conservancy, Maasai Mara
The addition of the new wildlife specially-equipped photographic vehicle at Porini Lion Camp, is proving very popular for photography enthusiasts who are coming out on a wildlife safari with the key aim of photographing the animals.
The specially-adapted Landrover has lowered window openings to maximise photography opportunities, and the centre row of seats has been removed allowing increased space for photographers to move to the most advantageous positions.

The award-winning Porini Lion Camp is ideal for an exclusive safari experience with day and night game drives and bush walks in the wildlife-filled Olare Motorogi Conservancy, adjacent to the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya.
Porini Lion Camp is located in unique and stunning setting on the banks of the seasonal Ntiakatiak River within the Olare Motorogi Conservancy. This large area borders the Maasai Mara National Reserve and is home to an abundance of animals including the Mara’s renowned Big Cats. There is unsurpassed game-viewing within the conservancy due to its unspoiled natural state and the Porini Lion Camp – with just nine tents and one family unit – ensures guests have a genuine “away from it all” experience deep in the African bush.
A safari at Porini Lion Camp is fully inclusive of all meals, drinks (beer, wine, sodas, vodka, gin & tonics and mineral water) as well as all activities (including day and night game drives, escorted walks and sundowners). Game safari drives (shared) are in specially-designed off-road (4×4) safari vehicles with expert / qualified safari guides to ensure the best possible game-viewing. Guests particularly enjoy the safari drives within the Conservancy where they experience the African wilderness without being surrounded by other tourist vehicles.

We do not claim that our eco-camps are luxurious but they are certainly meant to be comfortable and staying with us gives our guests a more exclusive and intimate safari experience than the big tourist lodges, while at the same time helping to pay for the conservancies to continue providing a protected habitat for wildlife.
Porini Camps include guided nature walks with Maasai warriors to get up close to the flora and fauna and learn about Maasai ways of life, as well as bush picnics and sundowners.
