The Porini Safari Camps

A Porini Safari is the ideal safari holiday for the true wildlife enthusiast who wishes to get close to nature to enjoy an undisturbed personal adventure with a knowledgeable and qualified safari guide, using customised open-sided 4×4 safari vehicles and escorted nature walks in private Conservancy areas.  

  • The small and exclusive Porini Mara Camp and Porini Cheetah Camp are located in the 18,700 acre Ol Kinyei Conservancy, one of the most beautiful wilderness areas in the Serengeti-Mara eco-system.
  • Porini Lion Camp is set in Olare Motorogi Conservancy, bordering the Masai Mara National Reserve.

The Porini Safari Camps were among the first in Kenya to be checked and certified to re-open with new Covid-19 safety standards in line with the World Health Organization and Kenya Ministry of Health requirements.

Various measures are in place based on their recommended protocols, including temperature screening of guests on arrival, regular health checks of staff, social distancing, deep cleaning of camp / vehicles and more.

In addition, our teams have now completed "Covid-19 Sensitization" training with the Kenya Red Cross Training Institute.

Porini Safari Camp Ground Package rates include:

  • Full Board accommodation,

Porini Camps Child Policy:

  • Porini Camps are not suitable for children under 8 years.
  • Children (8 – 16 years) each pay 60% of accommodation if sharing with 2 adults.
  • If sharing with 1 adult the adult pays single tent rate and child pays 60% adult.
  • 2 children in own tent 75% of adult accommodation rate each.
  • More than 2 children sharing with 2 adults in the same tent is not possible due to limited space in tent.

Rhino River Camp, Meru National Park

Rhino River Camp is situated in 80 acres of privately owned wilderness right on the edge of the Meru National Park and it is an excellent base from where to explore Meru National Park, with opportunities to see all of Africa’s “Big Five”.

The camp is made up of seven delightful cottages built from caramel canvas and hardwood and is set on raised wooden platforms from where you can watch the gentle flow of the Kindani River. Meru National Park hosts large populations of elephants, hippos, lions, cheetahs and leopards as well as many other animals including more than 300 species of birds.

Full Board Rates: (self-drive clients arriving in their own vehicle)

Nairobi Tented Camp, Nairobi National Park

Nairobi Tented Camp, our hidden jewel, is not far from home!

This is an authentic bush camp located deep in the heart of the forest inside Nairobi National Park. It is the only camp in the park and is small and cozy with just 9 guest tents, offering an exclusive and intimate experience. You won’t believe you are still in the city.

Nairobi Tented Camp is ranked number 1 out of 157 on Trip Advisor for B&B places to stay in Nairobi! It is the perfect base for game drives in the park and for a visit to Daphne Sheldrick’s Elephant Orphanage.
